ORLANDO - FLORIDA

At the beginning of December we have spent in Orlando 10 days having fun visiting the main center of the funfairs.
We have been at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista: not only this hotel has real good prices, but also it is located in a good position and it has good offers for all the seasons. This hotel is next to the Downtown Disney and it provides free shuttles every thirty minutes that take people to the Disney funfairs and also the possibility to stay, during some days, one more hour in the funfairs.

Disney’s funfairs are 4 with the add of 2 more water funfairs:
  • Magic Kingdom;
  • Epcot;
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios;
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom;
  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon;
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach.

It is possible to get the tickets not only on Disney’s official website, but also (as we did) at the hotel. We have taken the “5 days – theme park ticket”. Every day a different funfair with the highest validity of 10 days. There are then a lot of options that you can add at the basic tickets.
Every funfair deserves to be visited and also every show should be admired! Walt Disney was right when he said that Disneyworld is the place where dreams come true, the place in which adults can turn back children. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

This funfair is awesome: you can enjoy the shows in the world of sea life with dolphins, killer whales, sea lions…and at the same time you can have fun on marvellous roller coasters.
You can buy the tickets on the official website of this funfair, or at the hotel or, as we did, directly at Seaworld.

Beautiful funfairs with amazing attractions.
At the Universal Studios you can find, in addition to the extreme Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, loads of 3d and 4d attractions.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure: a name, a guarantee! You can find yourself at Marvel’s, at Popeye’s, at Jurassik Park’s, at Harry Potter’s and at Dr. Seuss’! Surely the fandom of Harry Potter won’t come back home after visiting the magic world of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley!
You can buy the tickets on the official website (as we did, again!) with the possibility to add also the fast-pass ticket that let us to skip the queues of most of the attractions.

During a holiday like this one, we couldn’t miss a day full of SHOPPING! In this beautiful city you can find loads of outlets with fashion brands from all the world, e.g. Ralph Lauren, PradaVictoria’s Secret, Tory Burch, Vans… Our favourite outlets here were:
-Orlando Premium Outlets – International dr.
-Orlando Premium Outlets – Vineland ave.

WHERE TO EAT?
Our favourite restaurants - that we heartily recommend are:
- Benihana (it is inside the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista…ask the staff to have the possibility to eat in front of the Japanese Chef!)
- Palm

SUGGESTIONS:
We suggest you to visit Orlando during the first fortnight of December: during these days, in fact, the hurricanes’ season is over, and the weather moves around 25°C-30°C. Furthermore, these days are considered as “low cost season” so the number of tourists is very limited and lower than the one that you can find during Christmas/New Year’s Eve/Summer (the queue at the funfair is shorter than ever, loads of taxi-cabs are available and of course you can skip a lot of traffic in the streets of this big city!).

Don’t be scrooge and buy in every funfair a cloak for the water attractions; in every funfair the price for it is around 8$...or take with you more clothes because you will be totally wet.

Buy the tickets before or on the net or at the hotel in order to skip the queues at the entrances of the funfairs and enjoy more your time here.

Don’t overfill your bags with bottles of water because you can find everywhere drinking fountains.

CURIOSITIES:
Recently, at Magic Kingdom, has been opened the new funfair “New Fantasyland”
